summary - the beauty of this mysterious woman made him speechless.
He first sees her sitting at the café in a local book shop. This might just be the most beautiful woman Gordan has ever seen. And he can see that she brought a life into this world. The lady looked up from her baby girl and spoke.
“Uhm, hello. Are you looking for somebody?”
The man, Gordan, tried his best to reply, but the beauty of this mysterious woman made him speechless.
She seemed to notice, and felt the urge to say something again. “Are you just going to stare at me until some actors kid comes and tells you all of their problems, and hopes you fix them?”
While looking defeated, Gordan quickly yet awkwardly answers “What? No, been there, done that. You are just beautiful. Could I have the pleasure of knowing your name?”
She had a smirk on her face that was definitely not caused by this man and his compliment. “Oh, It’s Sonja. I’d just like to know, do you use that line on all the girls? I’ve known someone like that, and it did not end well."
Looking slightly scared, Gordan answered “Oh, no. I haven’t been in the talking to women I would like to know better game in a while. My wife just left me because I did a cannonball naked while she was hosting a dinner party, but this guy you knew? He didn’t read that fucking ‘Artist Within’ shit did he?”
Looking just a tiny bit sad, but deeply elated, Sonja replied, “Actually he wrote that fucking Artist Within shit. I’m glad you don’t like him and his fucking persona. That’s another thing we have in common. To get away from that subject, you really jumped into a pool naked at a dinner party?”
Gordan tried to reply, but Sonja was too fast.
“The fact that you told me that makes me trust and like you even more. I kind of feel like I should tell you something embarrassing as well. So, one of my friends invited me to a party. I had too much to drink. I was too flirty and I found someone who holds a strong opinion on abstract artwork. We snuck away from the party by going to the bedroom of our host, my friend. One thing led to another and I threw up all over a very expensive painting, while also being naked.”
After listening to Sonja’s story, Gordan realized that she talks too much, but he loves it. “Oh, well that sounds like quite a night. Would you ever care to try something like that with me, well minus the vomiting.”
Sonja, now grinning, replied “Fuck Yeah mister hot stuff, just as long as we can go skinny dipping. I can’t believe I don’t know your name.”
Gordan, looking as happy as he had been in a long time, gave Sonja a smile and said “Oh, I’m sure we can work something out. It’s Gordan, and Sonja this has been a lovely meeting. I’ll meet you for dinner tomorrow around 7 if that’s alright.
Sonja gave him a smile and replied “Perfect. I’ll meet you back here at the café.
