Jack/Astrid-Sto Don't Break My Heart

Astrid/Jack story I wrote for a friend under the cut.

Astrid Peth was sitting in her room on her home planet of Sto. Her parents were long gone and all she could think about was traveling and seeing the stars. Today was her somewhat lucky day even if she didn't know it. A man from the time agency had just arrived on her planet, while trying to get to a familiar century on a familiar planet. Good thing his vortex manipulator batteries hadn't burned out yet. He tried to see if there was an innocent bystander that might fancy some "dancing". Astrid just got up to go outside and look for a book to read. Jack Harkness was standing right outside the local bookshop. Hey cutie, who are you. I'm Astrid Peth and I feel like I want to give you a gift, something that's an old tradition in some cases on the planet Sto. Oh come on then. Astrid leaned in grabbed Jack, pulled him in and kissed him. Jack squeaked "So Astrid, That's a great tradition". She replied with a cheeky smile "I always liked it”. Jack asked "So Astrid do you want to get a drink or something”. She replied by saying "yes I'd love to, but can I have the pleasure of your name first". I'm Jack, Jack Harkness. Well Hello Jack I think I deserve a tradition too. Oh let's just call it a kiss. Jack, I know what it is just wanted a bit of teasing. Astrid I like you, and could learn to love you. Jack I could learn to love you too. She looked back at him with a smile that shined nearly as bright as that of Rose Tyler. Jack cried "I'm sorry Astrid, but I can't really give anymore love away". Astrid replied with a simple "Oh" I gave my heart to two people and I never got it back was how Jack explained his past to Astrid. I’m sorry Jack. Well I'd better be going. Bye Jack Well I'm gonna go sign up to be a waitress on the space cruiser Titanic for next year right around the Earth holiday of Christmas. Bye Astrid and good luck, I hope you meet some fantastic people. Jack I could send you a letter or something If you'd like. I'd love that. Send it to 13 Bannerman Road and write to whoever lives there it's for Jack. Okay. Okay. Oh and Astrid I just want to say that you are fantastic and always will be. Astrid sent a letter. When it arrived Jack got a e-mail from Sarah Jane Smith, Astrid had included his e-mail in the letter for the person that lived at the address. The letter had said that Astrid had meet The Doctor, who she described as a sad grieving man she kissed to make him feel better. She also said that the whole time with The Doctor she had been thinking of him. The worst part of the letter was the end when she said she might not make it out alive. Astrid Peth had reminded both The Doctor and Jack about there long lost lover, Rose Tyler.
